I am so glad you found my blog and decided to stop by! I wish we were actually sitting across the table from one another sipping coffee from our favorite mugs with no schedule to keep or anywhere else to be except the present moment. It is my hope that you will find this blog encouraging, authentically real, and a boost to your spirit as we explore this journey called “life”. Most of the posts in this blog will be honest reflections about what I am learning about the goodness and faithfulness of God in my own walk with the Lord.
A few things you should know about me from the very beginning is that my favorite roles in life are that of wife and mother. The only thing I am more passionate about than my family is my faith in Jesus Christ. I am far from perfect and make many, many mistakes but it is never for lack of trying and I always get back up.
Something else you should know is that by trade, I am a licensed therapist. Over the years, I have had a front row seat to witnessing the joys and sorrows of others and have come to believe whole heartedly that none of us were meant to do life alone. One of the biggest lies and tricks of the enemy is to make us believe we are alone and no one cares or understands what we are going through. Before long, we begin to believe these lies that then cause us to pull back, stop reaching out, and isolate ourselves from others.
I Thess. 5:11 states instructs us to “Encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” We are also told in Ephesians 6:2 to “Share each other’s burdens, and in this way, obey the law of Christ.” It is my hope that as you read this blog, you allow me to come alongside you and become part of your “tribe” that not only believes in you, but also prays for you.
I would love to hear from you and encourage you “drop me a note” by leaving a comment!
